Scouts BSA Hong Kong Troop 1, a membership divisions of the Boy Scouts of America, has been available in Hong Kong since 1967 through our charter organization Hong Kong International School. Our program is for boys and girls who have completed fifth grade and are at least 10 years old, or who are between the ages of 11 and 18 years old. Candidates are not required to have earned the Arrow of Light Award to be able to join our program.

The program achieves the Scout BSA's objectives of developing character, citizenship, and personal fitness. Service, community engagement and leadership development are increasingly important parts of the program as youth lead their own activities and work their way toward earning Scouting’s highest rank, Eagle Scout.
