Join Scouts BSA Hong Kong Troop 1
Scouts BSA Hong Kong Troop 1, a membership division of the Boy Scouts of America, has been available in Hong Kong since 1967. Our program is for boys who have completed the fifth grade and are at least 10 years old, or who are between the ages of 11 and 18 years old. Candidates are not required to have earned the Arrow of Light Award to be able to join our program.
The program achieves the Scout BSA's objectives of developing character, citizenship, and personal fitness. Service, community engagement and leadership development are increasingly important parts of the program as youth lead their own activities and work their way toward earning Scouting’s highest rank, Eagle Scout.

How to Join Troop 1
Scouts BSA Hong Kong Troop 1 registration is now open for 2023 - 24. For information on how to join Troop 1 please contact our Registrar, Iantha Scheiwe at registrar@hongkongtroop1.org.
We invite you to attend one of our meetings to see our Troop in action. Troop-wide meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month during the evening, for upcoming meeting see our calendar. Patrol meetings are held at the discretion of each patrol. To join a patrol meeting please email our Scoutmaster at scoutmaster@hongkongtroop1.org, who will put you in contact with an Assistant Scoutmasters for one of our patrols to work out the details.
